Hello There!
I am Peta, an artist living in sunny Brisbane, Australia. Quietude Project began as a personal project to find greater peace in my daily life and has grown into a personal art practise that I love to share with others. I work mainly paint in acrylics but love playing around with and experimenting pen, ink, watercolour, pastels, charcoal and clay. I also enjoy using my skills to create functional artworks, such as creating cards, gift tags and notebooks. The more I try, the more I love and the more eclectic my art style has become. I resist the idea of solely creating in one media or style but as my collection of artwork grows, I am excited to see a bright, bold, semi-abstract theme emerging across my work as a whole.
